Tri Arts Project (TAP) was founded in 2022 to answer a rallying cry from the community: Castle Rock lacked and wanted a unifying center for the arts. For the next two years, TAP worked with the Castle Rock Community community, local government, businesses, and other art-focused nonprofits to make their mission a reality– to provide space and opportunities for the education, creation, and presentation of the arts. TAP struck a deal with the Town of Castle Rock to open its doors at the historic Cantril School Building in September 2024–a home for artists, educators, students, and community members to gather together to make, teach, present, and appreciate all forms of art.
One of TAP’s primary goals is to ensure that the transformative power of art is accessible to everyone in our community. We strive to provide a welcoming space where individuals from all backgrounds can engage in artistic education, creation, and development under the guidance of our expert mentors. As we celebrate the grand opening of our new home, we are excited to offer a wide range of art classes, workshops, and rotating exhibitions. Through these initiatives, we aim to foster creativity, build community connections, and ensure that the arts remain a vital and inclusive part of life in Castle Rock.
